Recording Issues Policy

At Hello Studios, we strive to provide a seamless recording experience with high-quality audio and video. However, we understand that unforeseen issues can occur. To ensure clarity and mutual understanding, the following policy outlines our approach to handling recording issues:


Equipment and Technical Issues

  1. Malfunctioned Equipment
    • In the rare event of equipment malfunction during a session, we will either:
      • Offer additional time to re-record the affected segments at no extra cost, subject to availability.
      • Provide a partial refund or credit for the session, depending on the extent of the issue.
  2. Recording Video or Focus Issues
    • Clients are responsible for approving all camera angles before recording begins.
    • A visual preview of the setup will be shown to the client, and adjustments can be made as requested.
    • Hello Studios is not liable for video focus or angle issues that were approved by the client prior to recording.
  3. Sound Check and Audio Issues
    • Before the session starts, a sound check will be conducted to ensure optimal audio quality.
    • Clients must provide final approval of the sound check before the recording begins.
    • Hello Studios is not liable for audio issues that arise if the sound check was approved by the client.

External Issues Beyond Our Control

  1. Power Outages
    • In the event of a power outage during your session, we will work to reschedule your session as soon as possible, subject to availability.
    • Hello Studios is not responsible for any delays caused by power outages.
  2. Internet Outages
    • If an internet outage disrupts your session (e.g., live streaming or remote guest recordings), we will reschedule the session for a later date, subject to availability.
    • Hello Studios is not liable for any impact on your recording caused by internet outages.

Client Responsibility

  • Pre-Session Approval: Clients must provide final approval of the following before the recording starts:
    • Camera angles and framing.
    • Focus on all camera shots.
    • Sound check and audio quality.
  • During Recording: Clients should promptly notify the studio staff of any concerns or issues that arise during the session.

Resolution of Issues

  • If an issue arises that is not within the client’s control (e.g., unforeseen equipment failure, power outage, or internet disruption):
    • Hello Studios will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the session at no extra cost.
  • If an issue arises after the client has approved the setup and sound check:
    • Hello Studios will not be held responsible for re-recording, rescheduling, or offering refunds.
