What Education Means Here
Hello Studios education initiatives focus on the operational, strategic, and governance aspects of podcasting and long-form media.
The goal is to support informed decision-making, reduce operational risk, and improve long-term outcomes for organizations and production teams working in complex environments.
Education is delivered through a monthly webinar series and formal certification courses. These are separate formats with different purposes.
The Podcast Operating Briefing
The Podcast Operating Briefing is a monthly webinar series focused on one operational topic per session. Each briefing is structured, practical, and designed to be shared internally.
Participants receive a topic-specific Certificate of Completion. Certificates of Completion confirm participation in education and are used to support annual recertification requirements.
Format
Each session follows a consistent structure: problem framing, how organizations handle it today, tradeoffs and risks, and operational guidance, followed by Q&A.
Topics
Topics are selected for long-term relevance and operational value, including governance and approvals, multi-show management, reliability and QA, and video-first delivery standards.
Certificates of Completion
Certificates of Completion are issued per session and tied to the topic presented. They are educational records and do not represent certification.
Certification Courses
Certification courses are separate from webinars. Courses provide structured training aligned to Hello Studios standards for operational excellence and technical production quality.
Individuals may take courses without pursuing certification. Certification is awarded only after passing assessment and review by the Hello Studios team.
Producer Course
A structured course for podcast producers covering workflow discipline, delivery standards, quality control, and technical production requirements across audio and video.
Studio Course
A structured course for podcast studios covering documented operations, team handoffs, quality assurance, and the minimum standards required to deliver reliably as an organization.
Assessment and Review
Certification is earned through assessment. Submissions and exams are reviewed internally by the Hello Studios team to confirm alignment with published standards.
Continuing Education and Recertification
Hello Studios certifications are valid for one year. Annual recertification requires completion of a renewal exam and at least one qualifying webinar Certificate of Completion within the renewal period.
This approach keeps certified producers and studios current with evolving standards while maintaining a consistent baseline for operational efficiency and excellence.
How We Develop Education Programming
Education initiatives are developed deliberately and maintained over time. Content is introduced when it can be supported responsibly and updated as standards evolve.
Where appropriate, education topics align with Hello Studios Insights research, translating publications into practical operational guidance.
