About Christy Bareijsza:
In a recent interview, Christy Bareijsza introduces herself and her podcast, Finding Her, with a sense of candid charm. Christy’s podcast is a journey through womanhood, self-discovery, and empowerment. She shares her experiences and wisdom gained through life’s ups and downs, aiming to help women understand themselves better and become more independent individuals.
Christy Bareijsza has done some amazing work in her industry. She has focused on building her own business since 2005. She has not only been an innovator within her career endeavors, but she has overcome life experiences that have built who she is and what she stands for.
However, Christy didn’t start her career in Dallas. She grew up in the New Jersey / New York area, but has since lived in LA and Miami. After some time spent in her favorite city, LA, she finally embarked on a soul-searching journey to Dallas, Texas. Drawn to the city’s many opportunities, she sought solace amidst the pandemic and the financial toll it took on her business.
Christy’s well spoken nature and life journey would make you think otherwise, but her podcasting journey only began back in February. Through exploring Christy’s resilience as a 9/11 survivor and her perseverance through a midlife divorcee and navigating life afterwards, it seems as though Finding Her was destined to be born.
Christy has learned so much that she wants to give back to others that may find themselves in a similar position she once found herself in. Thus, Finding Her was created.
About Finding Her:
Finding Her is the journey of being your own independent self in a way that makes you a better person. Christy focuses on beginning her listener’s journey with exploring what starting over entails. She then discusses the topics of forgiveness, accountability, development, and more. Christy has curated her podcast based on her real life experiences. This sense of authenticity can be felt when listening to her stories.
Christy explains that Finding Her is about, “…finding what makes you tick, what inspires you, what makes you passionate, and applying that to your life, because when you do what you love and you expand and you make your own money and you make your own branding, you do that in a way that just makes you a better partner, better friend, better sister, better mother, better lover, it makes you a whole person.”
Christy recognizes that she is not alone in this journey. She changes the narrative and decides to offer guidance and resources to those that have found themselves “stuck” in their own circumstances. When asked what she says to those listening that find themselves in these circumstances, but don’t know what first steps to take, she replies, “It doesn’t work unless you’re real with yourself.”
Looking Ahead:
As Finding Her continues to evolve, Christy remains committed to providing a space for women to explore their identities, pursue their passions, and embrace their journey towards self-discovery. Through authentic conversations and personal anecdotes, Christy invites listeners to join her on a journey of empowerment and growth.
